GENERAL UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  A:Direct Entry Requirements:

  i: CERTIFICATE
A candidate must have a minimum of two passes of certificate of Secondary Education

ii: DIPLOMA
A candidate must have completed form six with minimum of one principal pass in a relavant subject.Or having a Certificate of a relavant course.

iii: BACHELORS

Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or equivalent with passes in five approved subjects,obtained in prior to the sitting for ACSEE.
Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination(ACSEE) with at least two principle passes or its equivalent.Applicant must have attained a total score of atleast 2.0 points(Where A=5,B=4,C=3,D=2,E=1 and S=0.5).
Holders of a Diploma from recognised and accredited institutions qualify for equivqlent entry.

iv: POST-GRADUATE
A candidate for admission to the Masters Degree of St.John's University of Tanzania (SJUT) shall -Hold atleast a second class Bachelors degree(GPA of at least 2.7) of SJUT relevant to your chosen postgraduate programme OR -A professional qualification which is deemed relevant and equivalent Candidates who hold unclassfied degrees should have a distinction or a credit in the subject of intended Masters Degree. Candidates with pass degree will also be considered if: -They have further experience,in their field of initial studies,for at least 5 years after graduation -They have additional training lasting for ateast 6 months after graduation
